Congratulations to Caroline (ISP 14, CURE Fellow 14, 15) for winning a prestigious Choose Development! fellowship from the Society for Developmental Biology. Awarded to only 5 students nationwide, the Choose Development! fellowship provides research opportunities to outstanding young college sophomores and juniors in developmental biology, mentor-ship, and exciting opportunities to attend conferences and courses focused on developmental biology. Caroline will work in the research lab of newly appointed Choose Development! mentor, Alana O'Reilly, to understand how stem cells communicate when she isn't busy attending the world famous Embryology Course at the Marine Biological Laboratories in Woods Hole that has trained myriad Nobel prize winners and National Academy Scientists over the past several decades. Congratulations Caroline! You rock!
